Friends in England 1: at Woking


Gordon's School in Woking is the national monument in England to General Gordon of Khartoum. This is a group picture of members of the Old Gordonian Association, Gordon's School. It was taken in June 2001 at their annual meeting. I am in the front row and next to the oldest Gordonian present (age 93). Double click on the photo for better viewing.

    Dear Pinecone:

    I think a text note should be added under the picture which should cover two points.
    First: what is the picture about? Who are these people and why are they there?

    Second: A note should be added (perhaps in bold) that for best viewing the photo should be double clicked -- making perusal of the photo much easier to see.
